You Can Get “Involved” on UpStreet!

Service is a virtue on Upstreet!  We teach UpStreet kids that we all have gifts that can be used to serve God in amazing ways.  Below is a list of volunteer roles on UpStreet.  Whether it’s serving as a host, in small group, in large group, or behind the scenes…everyone and every role is important as we work together to make a difference!  We invite you to join our team!

Small Group Roles

Small Group Leader – individual who oversees and is primary model for small group of approximately 8-10 kids, encouraging spiritual growth through relationships, discussions, and other small group activities.

Class Coach – individual who oversees check-in/check-out and provides leadership and support to a team of Small Group Leaders for a particular grade or grade group.

UpStreet Host – individual who welcomes, orients, and registers new parents and kids as they enter UpStreet hall.

Starburst Greeter – individual who greets kids and families with a welcome and a Starburst as they enter stairwell that leads to UpStreet.

Activity Coordinator – individual who works behind the scenes, gathering and preparing supplies to be used in small group time.

Host – individual who co-hosts large group throughout the month, helping to emphasize virtue word, bottom line and three basic truths in fun, engaging, and interactive ways.

Storyteller – individual who creatively communicates the Bible story during large group storytime with the help of props, volunteers, actors, and sound effects.

Vocals – individual who is part of a team that performs praise songs and helps lead large group worship.

Praise & Dance - individual who is part of a team of middle and high school students that performs choreographed dance moves to praise songs during large group worship.

Production – individual who works behind the scenes overseeing and running audio/visual for large group production.

Stage/Prop Coordinator – individual who creates or gathers props for large group and/or helps coordinate and decorate large group stage in ways that help bring the monthly theme to life.
