Trinity Community Ministries

What began as a program to feed and house homeless men has evolved over the years to a 36-bed transitional facility serving homeless men with chronic alcohol and drug dependency issues. The goal of the program is to prepare participants to become self-sustaining members of society with functional households, sobriety and full time employment. The transitional process takes 18 – 24 months and has a 65% success rate (compared to other recovery programs which have a 10% success rate). Graduates of the program have their own job, apartment, checking account and car. Southside has committed to provide dinner to the Trinity House residents on the first Monday of each month.  This includes preparing or purchasing a full meal (main course, sides, bread and dessert) for 40 residents plus the Southside volunteers each month.
