GroupLink FAQs

When and where are the GroupLinks?

Married and Singles GroupLinks are held at Southside Church.

The next GroupLinks will be held in the Fall of 2012.

What happens at GroupLink?

Upon registration here, you will be placed in a best-fit group based on your life-stage, age group, and area of town.  You will receive an email from your new group leader prior to the event.

You will meet your new group members and leader(s) at our GroupLink event.  With your new community group, you will enjoy entertainment, a get-to-know-you time, and watch a short video.

Is childcare provided at GroupLink?

Childcare is not provided, but we do reimburse (at a predetermined rate) for babysitters needed in order to attend the GroupLink event. Our online childcare reimbursement form can be found here.

What is the difference between GroupLink and a Community Group?

You go to GroupLink, a two-hour event, to join a community group. Community groups are small groups of six married couples or eight individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

What if I can’t make it to GroupLink?

If you cannot make it to the upcoming GroupLink, and still want to be in a group, let us know as we will make every effort to place you in a group that best fits your life-stage, age group, and area of town.

What is an Assimilator?

Assimilators are volunteers who help people connect into groups by providing information about GroupLink events. They are also at the GroupLink events to assist people as they form groups.
